European Students

As a European citizen, you don’t need a visa to study in Ireland. However, since Ireland is not part of the Schengen Area, you will still need to present a valid ID card or passport (not expired) when traveling to the country.

 

Non-European Students

We welcome non-European students on a semester basis only. Depending on your nationality, you may need to apply for a short-term visa C (not a study visa). You’ll find all the relevant information on the irish immigration website
