Dublin: A memorable Career Day filled with encounters, inspiration and ambition

Companies and Careers

Dublin vibrated to the rhythm of Career Day on 28 January, an intense day when students' professional futures took on a new dimension. On site, a committed team: Séverine Groult from International Affairs, Baptiste Flatet from the Internship Department, Sasha Nabet from the Alumni Department, and Mylène Breville, dedicated to work-study students. Throughout the day, the students gathered to exchange ideas, ask questions and refine their plans.

Students listening to the professor

The highlight of the day: an inspiring talk by Frédéric Chauviré, followed by a Lunch & Learn dedicated to the art of launching your career, optimising your CV and nailing your interview. The room was packed, the students captivated.

The key lessons?

  • Anticipate: don't start networking when you need a job, but well before.
  • Stand out from the crowd: personalise each CV, find out about the company and its culture.
  • Tell your story: a career path is not a list of experiences, it's an authentic narrative that makes people want to meet you.

A day rich in exchanges, awareness and opportunities... which are just the beginning of the road to success.
